A quick TMB update from 2 of our guides out on the TMB.
Chapieux/ Ville des Glaciers to Courmayeur: No microspikes needed. Descent to Casamatta ok now.
Courmayeur to Bonatti/ Val Ferret: Trails fine, muddy in places a couple of water crossings to negotiate.
Bonatti to Arnouva - muddy in places, several water crossings to negotiate and 1 increasingly difficult snow gully.
Val Ferret to La Fouly: Snow crampons not needed up to Grand Col Ferret, but still required on the way down, until just before the narrow section. Otherwise trails to Ferret are good.
Ferret to La Fouly: The riverside trail between Ferret and La Fouly has been washed away in a large section, so taking the slightly higher trail is better than road option.
