More welcoming news today when Switzerland announced their own travel plan for this summer. In short, if you are fully vaccinated & are travelling from a country that isn't on the high risk list then you are free to enter without quarantine from the 28th June. No PCR or antigen test will be needed for vaccinated tourists who travel from a non high risk country.

Entry from none risk countries

In the following cases, travellers are not subject to any restriction, proof required:

  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, with the last dose taken no earlier than 6 months ago.
  • Recovery from COVID-19 within 6 months from the end of the isolation period.
  • No Covid test necessary if you can provide one of the above.

Entry from high-risk countries

Passengers will need to take a PCR test within the past 72 hours and then enter a period of quarantine .

However, in the following cases, travellers are not subject to quarantine even if travelling from a high risk country when they can show proof of:

  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, with the last dose taken no earlier than 6 months ago;
  • Recovery from COVID-19 within 6 months from the end of the isolation period.

Entry from countries with a variant of concern

Passengers will need to take a PCR test within the past 72 hours and then enter a period of quarantine .

However, in the following cases, travellers are not subject to quarantine even if travelling from a high risk country when they can show proof of:

  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, with the last dose taken no earlier than 6 months ago;
  • Recovery from COVID-19 within 6 months from the end of the isolation period.
