Preparation is the key to achieving your goal of enjoying your walking holiday on these stunning mountain treks. We will tailor each days walk to suit your requirements and make sure that you are aware of the daily distances travelled and any height gain, so you know what to expect.
TREK GRADING
We grade our treks from 1 to 10 (1 being relatively easy & 10 being extremely hard), each trek receives a grade depending on the difficulty of terrain and numbers of days of sustained trekking.
BESPOKE TREKS - PICK YOUR GRADE:
There ARE easy treks in the Alps. And this is the beauty of working with our experts who can tailor bespoke trekking holidays for you: we listen to your needs and choose from the hundreds of trails accordingly.
Alpine hiking trails are varied and can have enormous daily elevation heights and gain to challenge the fittest of our clients. However, with 1000's of kilometres of trails we can also show you stunning walks through Alpine forests and meadows where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains that are no more strenuous than the walks you take at home.

NUTRITION AND HYDRATION
No matter what your trek is graded, or your level of fitness, one of the most important things when walking at altitude is your nutrition and hydration. Poor nutrition or hydration can severely affect your physical performance so it is important to get what you eat and drink right.
