Am I fit enough for a walking holiday

One of the most frequently asked questions we have is "am I fit enough for a trek?"... Our website has a wealth of information on this, from the page below, to blogs and even diaries written by our clients showing their day-by-day accounts of preparing for and undertaking the Tour du Mont Blanc and the Walkers Haute Route.

If you have ANY questions, on this we are only too happy to help. Just call, drop us an email or get in touch on social media.
For most people, if you are prepared to walk regularly and try out regular elevation gains, daily walking is simply putting one foot in front of the other and eventually you will get there! However, you DO need to prepare - daily walking in mountainous regions isn't the same as a 20 minute dog walk!

Our guided treks offer you a wealth of support in ensuring you are good to go. Group holidays can be great - as people are always on hand to offer advice and support, but if you are unsure, there are always self-guided options where we can allow you rest days in between your hikes.

We offer routes to some of the top ten treks in the world, from the Tour du Mont Blancto trekking Nepal. And whichever package you choose we can take out the "boring" aspects of multi-day-hikes - we book the accommodation and can transfer your baggage from one rest stop to the next.

There really is a most liberating feeling in completing a trek - it truly is a bucket-list worthy experience. All it takes is preparation and investment in yourself and the rewards are bountiful!
